Environmental Control System Switch-Aids

The ECS-Switch Filter helps individuals overcome switching problems caused by unintentional repeat "tapping" on their switch caused by, for example, a tremor or limited body control.

The ECS-Switch Filter allows a single switch press through to the ECS controller but then blocks further switch presses for a period of 2 seconds effectively filtering out unwanted input to the environmental control system.

The unit is normally powered by a small mains transformer. If the mains supply is interrupted by, for instance a power cut, the ECS-Switch Filter automatically changes over to the internal battery. When the mains supply is reconnected the unit automatically changes back to mains power.

A "low battery" warning light automatically turns on to warn the user when to replace the battery.

The ECS-Sustained Pressure Switch helps individuals vulnerable to accidental switch activations caused by an unintentional touch on their input switch.

The ECS-Sustained Pressure Switch requires the user to maintain a sustained pressure on their input switch for 1 second before the input signal is passed through to the environmental control system.

The unit is normally powered by a small mains transformer. If the mains supply is interrupted by, for instance a power cut, the ECS-Sustained Pressure Switch automatically changes over to the internal battery. When the mains supply is reconnected the unit automatically changes back to mains power.
