Dream-Gamer

Dream-Gamer is a switch adapted controller for use with the Sony PlayStation 1, 2 and 3.

Dream-Gamer has been designed so that children and young adults with physical disabilities can play games on the Sony PlayStation using a range of controllers.

Cap controller uses head movements.
Pistol controller requires large scale hand and wrist movement.
Mini-joystick uses finger or thumb control.
Switch input requires the gamer to press switches to control the game.

All of the input systems are used to control "direction" in the game. "Actions" in the game such as "fire", "acceleration" or "braking" are controlled through the Action Extension Box using external switches.

Although Dream-Gamer is a switch adapted PlayStation controller when it is disconnected from the control cap and switches, it can be used as an un-modified controller. Dream-Gamer can also be used alongside un-modified controllers to enable two or more individuals to play together on the same PlayStation console.
